2024 - Olympic Logging Conference

The 77th Olympic Logging Conference was a tremendous success! A special thank you goes out to the generous sponsors who made this conference possible. It was encouraging to see many new sponsors join us this year too!

The theme "Opportunities for Innovation" embraced new solutions for better products, suggested adaptive approaches for better production, and questioned traditional rules by daring to break our operational paradigms. Speakers kept us engaged in topics such as in-the-woods technologies, log processing, new wood products, and workforce management. A BIG thank you goes out to all who presented and shared their skills, knowledge, and expertise!

We also wish to acknowledge our conference manager and board of directors, who without their dedication, persistence, and hard work, this conference would not be possible. What a great team!

In my opening remarks I stated that loggers are a hard-working bunch. Working a dangerous job in the wildest, most remote landscapes. It's early mornings, long days, and lost weekends. It's working in the woods. But success does not come from luck, it's working hard and finding opportunity.
